Answer by Abbey Laurel-Smith:
“I KNOW that the vast majority of Muslims are NOT terrorists” yes, but what they would not tell you is the role radicals play alongside the Prophet, to establish the religion in the Arabic peninsula before spreading it westwards to Spain via Morocco, and northwards to Istanbul via Damascus.
But if you chose not to use radical Islam, then Islam and Islamism is a perfect substitute. Too bad it generalizes everyone in the religion, but then, what does the “rule of association” say in western law?
People are afraid of saying radical Islam because they have – at one time or the other in their careers, taken a “hot bung” and it is burning through their fingers.
‘Hot bung” is an English football fan slang for bribe or a form of payment under the table.
