Abbey Laurel-Smith, SmithieForMayor Inc., and ReBuildNewYorkCity are 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations recognized by the Internal Revenue Service.
Our campaign goal is to get New York city back on track after this pandemic by revisiting and by adapting to now, examples of what was done to revive and to re-energize American cities after the civil war as well as examples of what was done to re-invigorate impacted communities after the great depression era.
As at now, proper organization of resources and admin., after vaccination, we believe, is the only way to tackle immediate needs like rent laws and mortgage issues, putting more money in public schools, public housing, affordable housing, fixing the subway, homelessness, helping small businesses, and working with the governor to reforming the NYPD, the criminal justice system as well as a few other city departments.
Creating a sustainable city for the next generation to come and for the common good of all if we set up a system of proper accountability for small businesses by moving the city’s trading platform from paper notes to a digital currency platform is also paramount to this campaign to ReBuildNewYorkCity.
