What’s the point of democracy when some liberal extremists would never consider voting for Republican?

Answer by Abbey Laurel-Smith:

“liberal extremists would never consider voting Republican” because democracy in America of today is exactly like it was in England from 1236 to 1531. Adding a dose of globalization, free and borderless to this democracy will even drive it further back to what was in the middle ages – a time when there was no other language other than Latin. No nation other than the one proposed by the Papacy or the empire from Rome. And law of the realm could either be cannon (as given by the Papacy) or civil.

What we have now is exactly like it was under Magna Carta in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales in the 13th century. And a democracy that reeks of privileges and negotiated rights is far from being a true democracy. That’s why Henry the VIII got rid of Magna Carta in the 16th century, and replaced it with old English 9th century English “yob” referenda-style of popular democracy.

India is going the way of British democracy. I think it’s time to change. Democracy should be fluid, organic and as welcoming as a Christian protestant state. That’s probably what the liberals are saying.

What's the point of democracy when some liberal extremists would never consider voting for Republican?
