My answer to Why is the US Constitution considered almost sacred 200 years after it was written?
Answer by Abbey Laurel-Smith:
The American Constitution, as given, is not a mere tale to be told. It is a treasury of responsible citizenship. It is an undeniable vast sum of history, civics, politics and a means to treat past experience of (the English) as a kind of philosophy of life, lived by examples.
All in all, it is unlike the Bible because it is regarded as a proper study of man and human nature.
