Complacency kill Goliath, and Bill de Blasio is showing all signs of being complacent at the moment.

Was surprised to see how lame the last debate for Mayor turned out to be. Both candidates have nothing else to say than to pose for cameras and jab at each other’s pocket, mortgage and executive experience. True, running a campaign is different from running a city, but what does the current state of the MTA tell us about an executive?

One thing unions and their voting blocks need to know is: this is exactly what happens when you allow White House Democrats and David Dinkins’ boys to bully and stifle opposition – small, big, born or ready to hatch.

And in the bullying process, they forgot one thing – that complacency kill Goliath, and Bill de Blasio is showing all signs of being complacent at the moment.

So New Yorkers’ make my day. Let my David pounce…
