My answer to Do you support Hillary Rodham Clinton's candidacy for President of the United States of America?
Answer by Abbey Laurel-Smith:
No. As a competing candidate, I don't. And neither am i in anyway supportive Trump. There are constructive ways to move the country forward from where we are as at now. And doing things the trusted and the safest way is out of it.
To be frank, I am at odds with the final points of (executing) her policies. I’d be more welcoming and considerate if she warms up to redefine the roles of Anne Hutchinson and Mary Dyer in American history rather than that of Margaret Thatcher.
The post world war UK of Auntie Maggie was far different from America, Washington and the U.S. Congress of today.
Under a different leadership, Republicans of today will be as fired up and as challenged as Boston Puritans. But she’s lucky to have Ryan and Trump.
Meanwhile, I remain her Radical Republican – her Thaddeus Stevens and Wendell Phillips put together. But if i should take up the mantle of Republican leadership tomorrow then we might be looking to revisit “privileges and immunities clause”…
I rest my case for now.
