My answer to If Donald Trump loses the general election, what could the possible aftermath be?
Answer by Abbey Laurel-Smith:
The aftermath would be damaging to the Republican party. But that being said, the damage or whatever damaged caused would be curtailed to the office of the president. And that office, frankly speaking, doesn't really serve Americans at local and state level. So we (American Republicans) can afford to do away with it (the office of the president) and keep the “spirit of the republic” going through local representation in the house and in the senate.
This is all about “compromise” Embodied by the American Constitution, and so far ignored, pilloried and disregarded by Hillary Clinton and the Democrats in general.
